Pepas

The creation of a Pan European Practical

Assessment system for veterinary nurses

 

Pepas (the project) ran from October 1st 2008 - September 30th 2010. The results of this project are currently owned by Vetnnet (http://www.vetnnet.com).

Pepas developed a practical assessment system based on OSCE's (objective structured clinimal exminations). This system is developed to assess the practical learning outcomes as described in the Dossier of European Competencies. This Dossier is downloadable from http://www.acovene.com

This website contains over 100 practical tasks that can be used as a training aid or as part of a practical exam.

Members of Vetnnet can obtain a password for the practical task bank by sending a request to the Vetnnet board at vetnnet.coordinator@khk.be

Members of Vetnnet that wish to use the tasks not only as a training tool, but also as an assessment system, can get access to the examiner versions of all tasks. For this access they need to sign an agreement with Vetnnet. Part of this agreement is the Pepas policy.
